WEST YORKSHIRE
SALARY £38,578.62 + 5% Employer & 5% Employee Pension Contribution + Life Assurance x2 + 22 Days Annual Leave (Inc Fixed Dates) + Onsite Parking
4 SHIFT PATTERN
Our client specialises in printed folding cartons, providing bespoke solutions to a range of food markets throughout the UK.
With significant increases in demand, they are looking to recruit an experienced Cut and Crease Operator to join production department. You will be responsible for setting and running a Bobst 142/145.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and ensure the smooth running of the cutting machine to ensure high quality cartons for the next process in production
Responsible for the effectively running the cut & crease machines, identifying and reporting any necessary maintenance faults and ensuring all jobs are completed accurately and on time
Achieve daily, monthly and annual targets towards individual and department KPI's
Carry out all duties in accordance with quality and health & safety standards
Ensure conformance to customer audit requirements at all times
Make ready and run the machines, following instructions given on the works orders regarding speeds and instructions
Carry out quality checks at pre-determined intervals throughout the running of the job
Ensure machines are kept clean and tidy and that maintenance programmes are followed and documented
Carry out regular stock checks on consumables and spare parts and inform the relevant people when they require re orderingResponsibilities:
Previous experience working with BOBST 142 or similar
Excellent communication skills and be able to build good working relationships
A strong work ethic, flexibility and a high attention to detail is essential for this role
An effective communicator, a team player with leadership qualities with a good understanding and knowledge of quality, hygiene, environmental and Health and Safety systems / standardsBefore You Apply
