Children and Young People Support Worker
Randstad is looking for a dedicated Mental Health Support Worker to join our team. This role involves supporting children with disabilities and autism, requiring travel within Carlisle and West Cumbria. A competitive hourly rate is offered, ranging from £15 to £16.

Place of work: Carlisle and West Cumbria (travel required)

Working hours: Long day shift (7am to 7pm)
Should be able to work for a min of 36hrs in a week
Responsibility
What will you be responsible for:
Providing high-quality support to children with disabilities and autism, ensuring their safety and well-being. This includes assisting with personal care needs, such as peg feeding.
Specifically the activities will be:
Implementing care plans, engaging children in activities, maintaining accurate records, communicating with families and other professionals.
Experience
What requirements are we looking for?
Experience working with children with disabilities and/or autism is essential. Experience with peg feeding is also required.

Full UK driving licence (mandatory) due to travel requirements within Carlisle and West Cumbria.
PMVA (Bild) certification
Mandatory training certificates
Enhanced DBS check (on the update service)
