Job Description:
Remedy Education is currently seeking experienced and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants for daily supply roles in a well-respected SEN school based in Lewisham. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting pupils with special educational needs in a flexible, day-to-day capacity.
The Role:
Supporting students with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and moderate to severe learning difficulties
Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and delivery
Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils
Implementing individual learning plans and behavioural strategies
Ensuring a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment
The Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience working in an SEN school or setting is essential
Comfortable with personal care, moving and handling, and supporting pupils with complex needs
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable, adaptable, and able to follow direction
A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one)
