We are currently seeking a skilled Damp and Mould Operative to join our dedicated housing repairs team on a long-term social housing contract in Bedfordshire.
Responsibilities:
Carry out damp and mould treatments in occupied residential properties as part of both planned and reactive maintenance programmes.
Identify and diagnose the root causes of damp, condensation, and mould, recommending and implementing effective remedial solutions.
Apply specialist treatments, including anti-fungal washes, mould-resistant paints, and protective coatings.
Perform minor repair works such as plastering, painting, and decorating to restore treated areas to a high standard.
Ensure all work is completed safely, in line with health and safety regulations and internal quality standards.
Keep accurate records of completed work, updating job sheets and reporting any issues or progress to supervisors promptly.Requirements:
