Salary: £32,500.00 per annum
We're offering a fantastic opportunity for a Damp and Mould Operative to join the responsive repairs team at a respected, award-winning housing association. This hands-on role involves working directly in tenants' homes to diagnose and resolve damp and mould issues, helping to improve living conditions and prevent future problems.
Responsibilities:
Inspecting social housing properties for signs of damp, mould, condensation, and water ingress.
Diagnosing root causes such as poor ventilation, plumbing leaks, or rising damp.
Carrying out treatment and remediation works including mould removal, damp proofing, and wall treatments.
Repairing and restoring affected areas through plastering, decorating, and sealing.
Installing or upgrading ventilation systems and recommending preventative measures
Maintaining detailed records of inspections, treatments, and repairs, including photographic evidence.
Using hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasksRequirements:
Full UK Driving Licence (manual)Benefits:
