About the Role:
We are currently seeking a skilled Damp and Mould Operative to join a reputable social housing provider on a temporary basis. This hands-on role focuses on the inspection, treatment, and repair of damp and mould issues across occupied residential properties.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct damp and mould inspections in tenanted properties
Diagnose and treat damp, mould, and condensation issues
Carry out minor repairs including plastering, painting, and sealing
Apply anti-mould treatments and redecoration works
Liaise professionally with tenants and housing officers
Keep accurate records of works carried out
Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations at all times
Requirements:
Proven experience in damp and mould remediation OR building maintenance
Background in painting & decorating, plastering or general property repair
Full UK Driving Licence (vehicle provided)
Good communication and customer service skills
