Do you teach children after school or on weekends and looking for flexible local work between 8.30 and 3.30 pm?
Tradewind is looking for engaging, warm, and personable people who are able to work in Wirral secondary schools. We work with schools across the borough and have a consistent need for qualified and unqualified teachers to cover lessons on a flexible basis.

As a Cover Supervisor/Supply Teacher your responsibilities will include:
Taking the lead in the absence of the teacher
Sole responsibility for teaching and learning
Delivering pre-planned lessons
Using provided resources to encourage learning
Covering a range of subjects including practical PE lessons or drama lessons or dance lessons
Managing the behaviour within the classroom or sports hall or drama studio
Developing independent study skills and peer learning
Pastoral and learning support
Managing handover back to the teacherThe Benefits:

To join us and be successful in this Cover Supervisor role, you will need to:
Have a minimum of six week's experience in the last 3 years of working with groups of children or teenagers
A referee Tradewind can contact to take a detailed reference to account for this experience
This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
Provide a full CV with employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
Have the legal right to work in the UK
Bachelor's degree or similar equivalent qualification
