Job Description
DAS Team Leader - Nationwide (Need to get to Oxfordshire office on a regular basis)
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced DAS Team Leader to join their dynamic and continually expanding telecommunications company. This position is essential in installing various distributed antenna systems across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the end-to-end installation and cable testing on DAS builds.
* Lead a team of 1-2 engineers.
* Install and test RF systems, including Fibre, Cat6 and Coaxial cable.
* Lead a team of field engineers and sub-contractors on site.
* Troubleshoot and fault find and resolve any issues on site.
* Carry out site surveys, quality checks, and risk assessments for all sites.
* Understand and follow system schematic diagrams and layout drawings.
* Generate and send shift reports to the management team.
* Liaise closely with project managers and the clients to ensure the projects are delivered to a high expected standard.
* Adhere to all Health & Safety compliance and maintain company standards.
Key Requirements:
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience of DAS installation and cable testing.
* Experience in RF Fibre Optics.
* Proven track record of managing installation teams on site.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and diagrams.
* Familiarity with HSE practices and quality control.
* Anritsu Line Sweep Certified. (Online or in person training accepted)
* Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and communication skills.
* Must hold a full clean UK Driving Licence.
* Willing to travel across the UK and happy to stay away from home.
* Strong computer skillsBefore You Apply
