Data Architect - Azure Migration
Location - Mainly remote with occasional travel to Bristol & Birmingham for meetings / workshops.
Duration - 3 months initially
Rate - £650 - £750 pd (inside IR35)
Our client is embarking on a major transformation, moving from a legacy data platform to Microsoft Azure to significantly improve data accessibility and capability. They are seeking an experienced Data Architect to lead and shape this journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyse the existing legacy data landscape and dependencies
Define and own the end-to-end data migration strategy to Azure
Design scalable data models and target-state architecture
Create clear, actionable migration plans and approaches
Provide technical leadership and steer the migration project in the right direction, working closely with stakeholdersKey Skills & Experience:
Proven experience as a Data Architect or similar role
Strong background in data modelling, architecture design, and strategy
Hands-on experience planning and delivering data migrations to Azure
