Are you a seasoned Data Solutions Architect with deep expertise in both cloud-based and on-premises data architecture? Do you thrive in complex, regulated environments and enjoy crafting robust, scalable data solutions while driving governance and reducing technical debt? If so, we want to hear from you.
Experience working within Regulated Industries (Finance, Utilities, Healthcare, etc.) would be very beneficial.
About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and technically astute Data Solutions Architect to lead the design, governance, and continuous improvement of our enterprise-grade data platforms. You’ll play a key role in enabling business success through modern, compliant, and well-architected data systems—aligned to frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement hybrid data architectures (cloud and on-prem) to support business strategy.
Lead data governance initiatives, including metadata management, data quality, and policy enforcement.
Identify and address areas of technical debt within data systems, driving long-term sustainability and agility.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and enforce architectural and data standards.
Provide architectural oversight during project delivery and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks.
Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in data architecture and governance.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience in data architecture across cloud (e.g. Azure, AWS) and on-prem environments.
Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman.
Experience implementing data governance frameworks, including data stewardship and data cataloguing.
A track record of identifying and removing technical debt from legacy systems and data environments.
Background in regulated industries (e.g. financial services, energy, healthcare).
Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with both technical and business stakeholders.
