Job Description

Mechanical Commissioning Engineer - Data Centre Denmark | Permanent | Up to €100,000 A major international engineering contractor is looking for a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer to join a large-scale data centre project in Denmark. This is a hands-on commissioning role for someone who wants to be on site, close to the systems and involved in taking complex mechanical infrastructure from installation through testing, commissioning and handover. With 5+ years of secured project work, this is a genuine long-term opportunity rather than a short-term project. What You'll Be Doing Deliver mechanical pre-commissioning and commissioning activities Review IFC drawings, specifications and technical submittals Support commissioning plans, methodologies and sequencing Coordinate with package engineers, planners, vendors and site teams Prepare and review checklists, scripts and test packs Witness functional testing and verify system performance Lead/support walkdowns, tag walks and inspections Track commissioning progress, snags and close-out Support system handover, O&M documentation and client training Identify issues early and escalate commissioning risks What We're Looking For Mechanical commissioning experience within complex construction projects Strong knowledge of HVAC, chilled water, LTHW, ventilation and pressurisation systems Understanding of commissioning processes, sequencing and system interfaces Comfortable working in a fast-paced, site-based environment Strong communication skills and the ability to work across multiple disciplines A practical, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail Data centre experience is a major advantage, but strong mechanical commissioning experience from other mission-critical or technically complex environments will be considered.
