🧩 About the Role
Visa’s AI Experimentation Platform team is seeking a mid-level Data Engineer to support and enhance a live application built for Currency Cloud. You’ll be joining a global team working across India, Austin, and Poland, contributing to cutting-edge AI/ML infrastructure and data solutions.
This is a support-first role transitioning into active development, offering exposure to multiple high-impact projects across Visa’s client base.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
Maintain and optimize data pipelines for a graph-based network investigation tool.
Support ML model monitoring dashboards (drift tracking, performance insights).
Ensure smooth operation of batch jobs and data ingestion processes.
Collaborate with global teams in scrum environments.
Contribute to future enhancements and deployments across multiple Visa clients.
🛠️ Required Skills
4–6 years of experience in data engineering (5–6 preferred).
Strong hands-on experience with AWS (Ireland region preferred).
Proficiency in Java or Scala for data pipeline development.
Solid understanding of SQL and familiarity with NoSQL (Cassandra is a plus).
Experience with Apache Spark (Hadoop is a nice-to-have).
Familiarity with cloud architecture and big data design principles.

Experience with graph databases.
Exposure to ML model monitoring tools.
Prior work with Currency Cloud or similar fintech platforms.
