An established financial services company based in Cambridge is seeking a diligent and detail-focused Data Entry Clerk to support customer onboarding and finance data processes. This hybrid role combines home working with weekly office attendance and monthly team gatherings. This assignment is for a 12 week period due to a backlog of work that they need support with.
Key duties as the Data Entry Clerk are:
Onboarding customers to direct debit by entering data into finance systems and third-party platforms
Allocating payments to ensure customer accounts remain accurate and up to date
Supporting credit control with tasks such as chasing payments and updating aged debtor reports
The ideal candidate will have experience in finance or accounting and be confident working with senior stakeholders. Other attributes you will possess include:
Comfortable using Excel (vlookups, pivot tables)
Familiar with accounting systems
Sector experience is a bonus but not essential
