Data Scientist
Purpose
Turn raw data into strategic advantage. As a Data Scientist, you’ll harness advanced analytics, statistical modeling, and machine learning to uncover patterns, predict trends, and solve high-value business problems. You’ll work with leaders and technical teams alike—ensuring data isn’t just collected, but trusted, understood, and acted upon.
What You’ll Do

Design & Deploy Models: Build, train, and deploy predictive and statistical models (e.g., churn prediction, demand forecasting, recommendation systems). Select algorithms with the right balance of accuracy, interpretability, and performance.

Deliver Actionable Insights: Analyze large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities. Create clear dashboards, reports, and visualizations for decision-makers.
*
Collaborate to Drive Impact: Partner with engineers to secure clean, structured data. Work with business leaders to define problems, set metrics, and turn analysis into action.
*
Enable Smarter Decisions: Develop reusable metrics, features, and frameworks. Run A/B tests and experiments to measure business impact.
*
Champion Quality & Governance: Document methods, assumptions, and results. Maintain best practices for version control, data lineage, and reproducibility.

Stay Ahead: Evaluate emerging tools and algorithms. Share knowledge and mentor others in the data science community of practice.
What You Bring
Core Skills
*
3–7+ years in data science, advanced analytics, or applied statistics.
*
Proficiency in Python or R, plus SQL for data extraction and transformation.
*
Strong foundation in statistics, supervised/unsupervised learning, and feature engineering.
*
Experience with ML frameworks (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, matplotlib, seaborn).
*
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data stacks (Snowflake, Databricks, dbt).
Mindset & Approach
*
Sharp problem-solving skills with a commercial focus.
*
Ability to simplify complex findings into clear, actionable messages.
*
Obsessive about accuracy, quality, and reproducibility.
Bonus Points
*
Experience in NLP, time series, or recommender systems.
*
Exposure to big data tools (Spark, Hive).
*
Knowledge of MLOps practices for production deployment.
Qualifications
*
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related field.
