Job Description
Belmont Recruitment are looking for an experienced Cook to join a busy Day Centre team in Brighouse. This role is vital in preparing and serving nutritious, well-balanced meals and snacks for service users and staff, while maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, cook and serve healthy, appetising meals tailored to dietary needs.
*
Order supplies, manage stock and maintain accurate records.
*
Ensure compliance with food hygiene, health & safety and environmental health standards.
*
Carry out daily and deep cleaning of kitchen equipment, surfaces and storage areas.
*
Support trainees and help them develop catering skills.
Requirements:
*
NVQ in Food Preparation & Cooking (or equivalent experience).
*
Food Safety Level 2.
*
Previous catering experience, ideally in a care or community setting.
*
Strong organisational, communication and teamwork skills.
Hours - 8am to 2pm, Monday to Friday
