Day Shift Technician
£44,000 + benefits
Slough
MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Day Shift Technician for an Energy from Waste Plant. The Day Shift Technician will be supporting the operations team in operating and maintaining the power plant.
As a Day Shift Technician you will be responsible for:
Completing routine maintenance tasks and assisting with any plant related issues.
Monitoring stock levels and supervising bulk deliveries and loading.
Diagnosing plant faults and ensuring that any defects reported are followed up and completed.
Deputise for other shift technician as required.
Assist with plant shutdowns, helping minimise downtime.
To be considered for this role you should have:
A basic understanding of the process behind energy from waste – training is provided.
Good communication skills.
Able to operate forklifts and overhead cranes or willing to learn.
Relevant engineering qualification is desirable ie: NVQ, apprenticeship,
What’s on offer:
Starting salary of £44,000, rising to £46,161 after probation.
25 days holiday + bank holidays.
Up to 20% annual bonus.
