Maintenance / Project Engineer (Days).
Telford, Shropshire.
£43,800 per annum + 33 Days Holiday + 5% Matched Pension + Healthcare.
Days: Monday – Friday.
Are you an engineer working on a rotational or purely night shift pattern and now feel the time is right to find a purely DAYS BASED role? This is a unique opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer with project/improvement experience to join a successful, progressive and secure business.
Working on a wide array of automated machinery, this is an interesting role encapsulating both aspects of Maintenance and Project Engineering. Fixing faults and identifying areas for machinery optimisation and improvements!
Role Description.
* Gaining in depth knowledge of the process and plant, contributing ideas for further optimisation.
* Get hands on with engineering project work and play a part in new installations or refurbishments.
* Carrying out equipment commissioning and testing.
* Identify malfunctioning equipment and keep site management informed.
* Utilising the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
* Call on your engineering expertise in problem-solving workshops
* Kick off each day with operational review meetings, providing updates on project engineering/optimisation work.
Skills and Qualifications.
* Multi Skilled Engineering experience – mechanical or electrically biased.
* Formal Mechanical and / or Electrical Qualifications (Level 3+).
* Strong fault-finding capability.
* Experience in plant installations and optimisation.
* Experience of working within a process, production or manufacturing environment.
