Join Our Team as a DBS Checked Cleaner!
Are you passionate about cleanliness and creating a welcoming environment? Do you have an eye for detail and skills in maintenance and DIY? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our friendly team at a local school.
Position: DBS Checked Cleaner
Hours: Monday to Friday, 3:30 PM - 6:30 PM
Hours: Temporary to Permanent
Weekly Hours: 10 hours per week (term time only)
Hourly Rate: £12.65ph
** PLEASE NOTE THIS ROLE IS TO START IN SEPTEMBER WHEN THE NEW SCHOOL TERM BEGINS **
Your Role:
As our Cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe, clean, and inviting space for students and staff alike. Your responsibilities will include:
Cleaning:- Ensuring that classrooms, hallways, toilets, and other areas are spotless and well-maintained.
- Sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces to create a hygienic environment.
Maintenance & DIY (if applicable):- Performing basic maintenance tasks and DIY projects to help keep the school in top shape.
Security Responsibilities:- Closing windows and doors and locking up the school at the end of the day to ensure safety.
What We're Looking For:
Enhanced DBS Check: A current Enhanced DBS check is a must, or you must be happy for one to be carried out
Cleaning Skills: Proven experience in cleaning with a meticulous approach.
DIY Skills: Basic maintenance skills to assist with repairs and upkeep.
Key Holder Skills: Experience with locking up facilities and ensuring security.Adecco is a disability-confident employer.
