The Company
A specialist sub contract precision engineering company based in Cheltenham are looking for an experienced Bench Hand / Deburrer to join their friendly team. The company supply complex high precision engineered components to a variety of industries across the UK including Aerospace, Automotive and Military. This is a great opportunity for the right engineer to join one of the UK’s most successful and advanced engineering companies.
Duties - Bench Hand / Deburrer
* Deburr, finish and polish machined components using various hand held powered tools and finishing materials.
* Ensure components are finished to the standard expected by the customer within given deadlines.
* Liaise with the area Team Leader and Inspection Department to manage workload and customer requirements.
* Read and understand technical drawings to ensure components are in line with job requirements.
Requirements - Bench Hand / Deburrer
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a bench hand, deburring, assembly, polishing position or transferable skills in a similar, hands on role.
Hours of work - Bench Hand / Deburrer
Normal day shifts are available, overtime available at time and a half.
Salary and Benefits -
£14.50 - £15.00 per hour
