Job Description

Decommissioning Operatives – Springfield Fuels, Preston

We are currently recruiting for experienced Decommissioning Operatives to join a long-term project at Springfield Fuels in Preston.

This is a 12-month minimum contract working within a regulated industrial environment, supporting decommissioning and dismantling activities on site.

Rate of Pay: £19.22 per hour (Agency PAYE incl. holiday pay & barrier payment)
Hours: 39 per week (Mon–Thu 07:30–16:30, Fri 07:30–12:15) + overtime available

Duties include:

De-rigging and dismantling equipment
Assisting with pipework removal
General site maintenance and labouring duties
Supporting access and lifting operations
Working as part of a decommissioning team
Requirements:

Valid CSCS Card
Previous experience in decommissioning, heavy industrial, oil & gas or similar environments preferred
BPSS/CTC clearance (mandatory prior to start – approx. 4–6 weeks processing time)
Must be reliable and safety-conscious
Local candidates to Preston preferred.
