Sheffield
Days & Nights rotating
£36,000+ DOE
Metalis are currently working with a reputable company that produces machined components for the oil and gas industry in Sheffield, who are looking for a Deep Hole Borer to join the team on a Permanent basis!
What's the Job?
Interpret engineering drawings to customer specifications in order to produce components to the correct standards within the estimated production times.
Select machines and appropriate tools required to manufacture components from engineering drawings, whilst working within company Quality procedures.
Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained to ensure a safe and clean working environment.What Kind of Person Fits This Job?
2 Years machining experience with the oil and gas industry.
Experience of machining high grade material.
Experience of using deep hole borers.
Working knowledge of relevant tooling applications and machine tool capability including tool feed and speeds required to achieve efficient cycle times.The Basics:
£36,000+ DOE
Hours Per Week - 40 hours
Days Shifts Shift Pattern - Monday to Friday 6am to 2.30pm.
Night Shift Pattern - Monday to Thursday 6pm to 4am.
