Job Title: Defects / Customer Care Manager

I am currently looking for a Defects Manager to join an Essex based main contractor to help oversee all defect works on projects within education, commercial and healthcare. You will be expected to work with the operational & aftercare team in closing out all defects works in helping to secure all retention money due.
Key duties will be -
Visiting the Sites and identifying the defects and resources required for the project
Maintain constant contact with all sub-contractors to ensure adherence to the set programme
Regularly review timings, labour, materials and plant and project plans to ensure work stays on programme
Give toolbox talks
Be able to lead on H&S
Work closely with the project teams
Manage Q/A and Logistics Essential experience needed -
SSSTS/SMSTS, CSCS & First Aid qualifiedMy client will pay a competitive basic salary and package and is looking for the suitable candidate to start the candidate ASAP.
