Delivery Driver & Sales Assistant
Salary: £13 per hour
Location: Witham
About the Role
We are currently seeking a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver & Showroom Assistant to join our busy Parts & Showroom team. Reporting to the Parts & Showroom Manager, you will play a key role in delivering Calor Gas and other products to our customers, while also supporting day-to-day operations within the showroom and parts department.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely deliver Calor Gas and other items to a variety of customers
Ensure the vehicle is clean, tidy, and maintained in a safe condition
Assist customers in person and over the phone, providing outstanding service
Promote the company’s image and range of products in a professional manner
Support showroom and parts operations when required
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
Identify and engage with new gas trade customers and stockists
Load and unload delivery items safely and efficiently
Be flexible with working hours, including overtime, to meet delivery schedulesRequirements:
Full UK driving licence (essential)
ADR licence (preferred but not essential)
Forklift licence (advantageous)
Strong customer service and communication skills (verbal & written)
Presentable appearance as this is a customer-facing role
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physically fit – capable of lifting and handling gas cylinders
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak timesWorking Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Friday: 8:00am – 4:00pm
39 basic hours per week (1-hour unpaid lunch)
Saturday work may be required as part of a rota
Overtime available and paid at time and a half after 39 hours
