About the Role:
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing client based in Durham who is seeking a reliable and professional Driver to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being on the road, values punctuality, and takes pride in delivering excellent service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely transport goods between sites and to customer locations across the region. (Bristol to London and areas inbetween)
* Load and unload materials, ensuring secure and damage-free delivery.
* Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
* Carry out routine vehicle checks and report any issues promptly.
* Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
* Valid UK driving licence (Transit)
* Proven experience in a driving role, ideally within a manufacturing or logistics environment.
* Good geographical knowledge
* Strong time management and organisational skills.
* A professional and courteous manner.
* Self Driven
* Good Problem Solving
* The ability to work on your own inniative
