Job Description
Delivery Driver (HGV Class 2)
Lloyd Recruitment Services are working with a construction materials supplier in the Crawley area, who are looking for a Delivery Driver (HGV Class 2).

What you'll be doing:
Operating a Class 2 HGV vehicle safely
Delivering materials to multi sites in around the South East
Handballing goods as needed-assisting with loading and unloading of vehicles
Navigating site and kerbside deliveries
Building positive customer relationships
Ensuring the vehicle is roadworthy
Collaborating with the warehouse and logistics team
Managing own time effectively to ensure timely deliveries and effective route planning
Manual handling, including heavy goods
What we're looking for:
Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence, Driver CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card
Multi-drop driving experience is preferred but not essential
No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (clean license preferable)
Good knowledge of road safety and transport regulations
Friendly, reliable, and professional - with excellent communication and customer service skills.
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling/handballing.
A flexible attitude and willingness to train - crane and Moffett training provided for career progressionWhat's on offer:
Competitive salary: £32,000 - £35,000 depending on experience.
Monday to Friday only - no weekends!
