SLR Recruitment are on the lookout for a reliable and friendly Delivery Driver to join one of our fantastic clients in Waterlooville.

Delivery Driver - Waterlooville
Salary: £26,984.10 per year (Open to Discussion)
Location: Waterlooville
Duration: Permanent, full time (Monday - Friday)

The Role:
You'll be responsible for delivering goods safely and on time to locations on a pre - planned route while providing a great experience for customers. You'll also support the team with some warehouse tasks when needed. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely drive and operate the delivery vehicle, following all road and company safety rules
* Load and unload goods (some heavy lifting required)
* Carry out vehicle checks before and after each trip
* Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel use
* Communicate with customers and the team about deliveries and any issues
* Provide friendly, helpful customer service during deliveries
* Help with stock handling and organisation in the warehouse when not on the road
✅ What We're Looking For:
* Previous experience as a delivery driver
* A full, valid driving licence (experience with larger vehicles is a bonus)
* Confidence with heavy lifting and manual handling
* Good knowledge of local routes
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Experience working in a warehouse environment is a plus
