Delivery Maintenance Driver – Enfield Council
I am currently representing Enfield Council who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate of which is negotiable dependent upon experience
We are looking for an Delivery Driver based at: EN1 3ES
Key Accountabilities:
Responsible for the safe and timely transportation, setup, and basic instruction of medical equipment at patients' homes or healthcare facilities.
This role blends logistics, customer service, and technical support, requiring the driver to deliver items such as hospital beds, recliner chairs, hoists & simple aids of daily living. while ensuring proper installation and educating users on basic operation and safety.
The position also involves maintaining delivery vehicles, handling documentation, and performing minor troubleshooting or equipment maintenance.
Candidates should have a valid driver’s licence, physical ability to lift heavy items, strong communication skills, and basic technical knowledge of medical devices.
