Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Delphi Consultant to join our team and support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of Delphi-based applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Delphi (especially versions like Delphi 7, XE, or later), a strong understanding of object-oriented programming, and experience integrating legacy systems with modern architectures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using Delphi.
* Analyze legacy Delphi code and recommend enhancements or modernization strategies.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, and project managers.
* Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Delphi-based applications.
* Migrate and integrate Delphi systems with .NET, web APIs, or other modern platforms as needed.
* Write and maintain technical documentation for systems and procedures.
* Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
* Provide mentoring and guidance to junior developers if applicable.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Strong hands-on experience with Delphi (Object Pascal) development.
* Familiarity with Delphi versions 7/10/12/XE, or later.
* Experience with database technologies such as SQL Server, MySQL, or Oracle.
* Good understanding of OOP, software development life cycle (SDLC), and version control (e.g., Git).
* Experience integrating Delphi applications with web services (REST/SOAP).
* Ability to understand and work with legacy code.
* Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
