Demand Planner / Supply Chain Analyst (Forecasting & S&OP)

We are seeking a highly analytical Demand Planner / Supply Chain Analyst to join a ;eading manufacturing business. This role is central to driving accurate forecasting, supply chain efficiency, and ensuring strong collaboration across commercial, operations, and supply functions.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts across multiple product categories.
* Support the monthly S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process, providing insights and recommendations.
* Analyse historical data, market trends, and customer insights to improve forecast accuracy.
* Work closely with commercial, operations, and supply chain teams to align on demand requirements.
* Monitor inventory levels and highlight risks to supply or excess stock.
* Prepare and present regular reports and analysis to senior stakeholders.
* Contribute to continuous improvement projects within planning and forecasting.
Experience /Skills
* Experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain planning within manufacturing.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
* Proficient with Excel (pivot tables, lookups, reporting tools); experience with ERP / SAP IBP or similar tools is highly desirable.
* Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage with stakeholders across different business functions.
* A proactive problem-solver with excellent attention to detail.
