Job Description
This position is for a well-established and rapidly growing demolition contractor operating across Greater London and the Home Counties. Known for our professionalism, safety-first approach, and delivery of complex projects on time and on budget, we are now seeking an experienced Demolition Site Manager to join their team.
The Role
As the Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all on-site demolition activities, ensuring the project runs safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. You’ll manage site teams, coordinate with subcontractors, liaise with clients, and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day operations on active demolition sites
*
Lead site teams and subcontractors to deliver works safely and on schedule
*
Ensure compliance with RAMS, CDM regulations, and site safety procedures
*
Maintain accurate site records, reporting progress and issues to senior management
*
Liaise with clients, local authorities, and third parties
*
Manage plant, logistics, and site setup
*
Conduct regular site inspections and toolbox talks
Requirements:
*
Proven experience as a Site Manager in the demolition sector
*
Valid CCDO Black Card (Gold may be considered with relevant experience)
*
SMSTS Certification
*
First Aid at Work
*
Strong knowledge of demolition techniques, health & safety regulations, and environmental compliance

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsBefore You Apply
