🦷 About the Role
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for a qualified Dental Nurse to work closely with our dentists and specialists. You’ll play an essential role in delivering smooth, efficient, and safe clinical sessions, always with a smile and a patient-first approach.
Position: Dental Nurse
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (40 hours per week)
Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 17:15
Friday: 08:15 – 16:15
Weekend: Saturday shifts on a rota basis (08:15 – 14:15) with a weekday off in lieu
Start Date: Ideally within one month, but we’re happy to wait for the right candidate
Practice Type: Mixed – NHS & Private🔍 Key Responsibilities Include:
Providing skilled and empathetic chairside support during general and specialist dental procedures
Ensuring a seamless patient journey—from welcoming and comforting patients to supporting their recovery and aftercare
Preparing instruments, equipment, and materials for treatment sessions in line with strict cross-infection control standards
Keeping clinical areas pristine, organised, and CQC compliant at all times
Assisting with sedation procedures and radiographs, if qualified
Accurately updating patient records and notes using SOE (Software of Excellence)
Working closely with dentists, hygienists, and other team members to ensure an excellent standard of care
Participating in ongoing training, CPD courses, and in-house educational sessions to keep your skills sharp and your knowledge up-to-date✅ Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who is not only technically competent, but who genuinely enjoys being part of a supportive team. You’ll be someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys learning new skills, and always puts patient welfare first.
Essential Requirements:
GDC-registered Dental Nurse
Minimum 6 months’ experience in a general dental setting
Strong communication skills and a compassionate, professional manner
Proactive, adaptable, and reliable with a positive attitude
