Are you a skilled and committed Dental Nurse seeking a long-term opportunity in a flourishing private practice? Do you bring a strong clinical background and a genuine passion for patient care? We’re growing our outstanding team and currently have a permanent, full-time position available for an enthusiastic and capable Dental Nurse.
About the Role
This is a full-time, permanent position with no weekend or evening shifts beyond standard hours—ensuring a solid work-life balance. The schedule includes a 42-hour workweek, Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and an extended day on Wednesdays until 7:30 PM. A one-hour lunch break is provided daily.
Who We're Looking For
We’re seeking a well-rounded Dental Nurse who is confident in their clinical skills and thrives in a busy, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, flexible, and fully involved in all aspects of daily practice operations.
Experience with SOE dental software is a strong advantage, though not required—we’re happy to provide training for the right person. What’s essential is your ability to quickly adapt and integrate seamlessly into our systems and team culture.
Key Responsibilities
As a vital member of our clinical team, you’ll support a wide range of dental treatments, including:
General Dentistry – Chairside assistance during exams, restorative procedures, and general care
Implants – Assisting with placements, restorations, and ensuring proper sterile protocol
Endodontics – Providing support during root canal treatments and patient management
Hygiene Therapist Support – Collaborating to deliver preventive care and oral health education
Orthodontics & Invisalign – Aiding in appliance fittings, adjustments, and Invisalign procedures
Periodontics – Supporting the team during periodontal treatments with strict aseptic techniqueYou’ll also be responsible for maintaining a sterile and well-organized clinical environment, managing stock and instruments, and accurately updating patient records using SOE. Your interpersonal skills will play a key role in delivering a calm, positive, and professional experience to every patient.
Compensation
We offer a competitive hourly rate between £14 and £17, depending on your qualifications and experience.
