📍 Location: West Yorkshire (near Wakefield)
🗓️ Working Days: Tuesday to Friday (4 days/week)
⏰ Hours: 09:00 – 17:30 (with a full 1-hour lunch break – and yes, we do pay you if it gets interrupted!)
💷 Pay: £12.50 – £15.00 per hour (based on experience)

We’re a well-established, mixed dental practice offering a wide range of treatments, from general dentistry to specialist procedures including orthodontics, endodontics, implants, and oral surgery. We’re now on the lookout for a skilled and compassionate Dental Nurse who thrives in a dynamic, hands-on environment and is excited to be part of a team that truly works together.
🦷 About the Role
As our new Dental Nurse, you’ll play a key role in delivering an outstanding patient experience. You’ll support a variety of procedures and contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of our clinic. From assisting in surgery to helping on reception when needed, your role will be varied and impactful.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Chairside assistance across a range of treatments: general dentistry, ortho, endo, implants, surgical extractions
Preparing and sterilising treatment rooms and instruments to a high standard
Maintaining strong infection control procedures in line with CQC requirements
Accurate updating of patient records and clinical notes
Supporting the wider team – helping at reception or assisting colleagues as needed
Providing a calm, friendly presence to help patients feel welcome and at easeNote: Occasional weekend availability (roughly once a month) is required to support oral surgery clinics – typically just a few hours, planned in advance.

This role suits a confident and motivated Dental Nurse who wants to be part of something more. If you bring a strong foundation in clinical care, a willingness to pitch in, and a genuine team spirit – you’ll fit right in.
You’ll need:
GDC registration (essential)
Experience in a clinical dental setting (multi-disciplinary experience is a bonus)
Previous front-of-house/reception experience in a dental environment
Familiarity with dental software (we use Dentally – experience preferred, but not essential)
A proactive, can-do attitude and a collaborative mindset
Excellent communication skills – clear written and spoken English is essential
