🦷 About the Role
This is a hybrid position, offering a fantastic opportunity to split your time between clinical nursing and treatment coordination. It’s a perfect fit for a Dental Nurse who is keen to grow into a Treatment Coordinator role, or for someone who already has experience in both areas.
As a Dental Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
Supporting our clinicians across a comprehensive range of treatments including:
General Dentistry | Endodontics | Periodontics | Orthodontics | Prosthodontics | Implants, and more!
Preparing and maintaining the clinical environment to the highest standards
Ensuring excellent cross-infection control and upholding best practices at all times
Providing chairside assistance during procedures, helping our clinicians deliver the best possible careAs a Treatment Coordinator, your role will involve:
Guiding patients through their dental journey with care, empathy, and professionalism
Discussing treatment plans in detail and helping patients understand their options and next steps
Acting as a key point of contact for patients — answering their questions, addressing concerns, and ensuring they feel informed and confident
Assisting with the organisation and scheduling of treatment appointments
Supporting financial discussions, helping patients make informed decisions about their careThis is a varied and rewarding position where no two days are the same. You’ll play a vital role in both the clinical and administrative sides of the patient experience.
⏰ The Hours & The Package
Employment Term: Permanent
Working Days/Hours: 42.25 hours per week over just 4 days
One late night per week (working until 8:00 pm)
One Saturday per month (flexible hours, typically between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm)
Salary: Starting from £15 to £18 per hour, depending on experience
Software Used: Dentally and SOE (experience with these systems is desirable but not essential)✅ What We’re Looking For We are seeking a positive, professional, and personable team player who enjoys variety and takes pride in delivering exceptional service to patients.
GDC registration is essential
Strong communication skills with excellent command of the English language — both written and spoken
Someone who is either experienced in or open to developing their skills in Treatment Coordination
Confident discussing treatment plans with patients and guiding them through their options
Previous dental nursing experience — and ideally some experience at reception or in a front-of-house role
Flexible, adaptable, and ready to support colleagues and patients alikeDesirable:
Experience with Dentally and SOE software
