The Practice is a well-established, 5-surgery mixed NHS and private practice, situated in the heart of Horsham. They pride ourselves on providing high-quality patient care in a welcoming, modern environment. We're now looking for a motivated and experienced Dental Practice Manager to join our friendly and professional team.
The Role
As our Practice Manager, you'll lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the practice, supporting both patients and staff to ensure smooth, efficient service and clinical excellence. This is a full-time, permanent role offering great responsibility, autonomy, and professional development.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the day-to-day running of the dental practice
* Lead and manage a team of clinicians, nurses, and admin staff
* Ensure compliance with CQC, GDC, and NHS regulations
* Manage rotas, staff performance, and HR-related tasks
* Maintain financial performance, including budgeting and cost control
* Use and manage SOE (Exact), Word, Excel, and other digital systems
* Provide an exceptional patient experience
* Coordinate audits, health and safety, and practice improvements
About you
* Strong leadership and people management skills
* Familiar with HR procedures and regulatory compliance
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Confident in using SOE, Microsoft Word, and Excel
* Calm, approachable, and results-driven
* Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset
