Deputy Care Manager – Specialist Therapeutic Home
Job Title - Deputy Care Manager
Location - Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, UK
Setting - Solo placement Specialist Therapeutic children’s home
Employment Type - Full-time, Permanent
Working Pattern - 2 on / 4 off shift pattern (banked hours – 40 hours/week) + sleep-ins
Salary - £39,693.33 per annum (including sleeps)
Key Responsibilities
Act as a therapeutic leader under the Registered Manager
Support staff in delivering trauma-informed care
Build strong relationships with the young person and key professionals
Maintain and promote safeguarding, wellbeing and emotional development
Monitor daily reports, care plans and ensure regulatory compliance
Requirements
Level 3 Residential Childcare or equivalent – essential
Experience in therapeutic or specialist childcare settings – preferred
Senior experience in residential childcare – desirable
Full UK Driving Licence and own car with business insurance – essentialBefore You Apply
