Job Description
Sharp Consultancy are working with a rapidly growing business based in Barnsley that are looking for a Deputy Finance Manager to join their team on a full time and permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong leaderships skills, a passion for finance and a positive attitude towards contributing to the success of the business.
The main duties of this role will include:
*
Manage the day-to-day operations of the Transactional finance team
*
Oversee the accuracy and integrity of Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger and payroll data.
*
Act as the key liaison between the finance department and other business areas
*
Maintain and manage IT Systems within the finance department
*
Prepare and present monthly financial reports, including KPIs and Reconciliation of invoicing accounts
*
Ensure sales, costs and payroll are properly handled and accounted for.
Skills and experience required:
*
Minimum 2 years experience in a finance department with strong expertise with Sage 50 accounts and payroll.
*
Proven ability to manage and motivate a team
*
Excellent communication and relationship building skills
*
Advanced experience with Microsoft office and in particular Excel
*
Experience managing and improving account systems and procedures
