About the Role
One of my local government clients is seeking an experienced Deputy Manager to join its Adult Residential Care service, supporting older adults, including those living with dementia. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead and develop a dedicated team while ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care in line with CQC standards.
Key Responsibilities

Support the Registered Manager in daily operations and service development.
*
Supervise, mentor, and develop care staff, ensuring the delivery of person-centred care.
*
Manage rotas, staffing, and resources efficiently.
*
Lead by example during shifts, ensuring best practice and compliance with CQC regulations.
*
Oversee safeguarding, care planning, and quality assurance processes.
*
Liaise with multidisciplinary teams and families to support residents’ needs.
*
Contribute to audits, investigations, and policy reviews.
Requirements
*
Experience in a senior or deputy managerial role within adult residential or dementia care.
*
Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and safeguarding protocols.
*
Ability to lead teams effectively and deliver excellent standards of care.
*
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
*
Flexibility to work on a shift rota (including early and late shifts).
