The Role of Deputy Manager:
As Deputy Manager, you’ll work closely with the Registered Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of the home, lead and mentor the team, and ensure the highest standards of care. This is a low-risk, nurturing environment focused on emotional wellbeing and personal growth—not a setting where you face aggressive behaviours daily.
Your Responsibilities as Deputy Manager:
✔ Support the Registered Manager in all aspects of home management
✔ Lead and develop the care team to deliver outstanding child-centred care
✔ Ensure compliance with safeguarding and regulatory standards
✔ Drive continuous improvement and staff development
✔ Build strong relationships with children, staff, and external professionals

What We’re Looking For in a Deputy Manager
* QCF Level 3 Residential Childcare (essential); Level 4/5 (desirable)
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in residential childcare with leadership experience
* Strong understanding of child development and safeguarding
* Full UK driving licence
