A dedicated and caring organisation committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment for children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs. The children’s home in Ilford currently supports two young people, with the capacity to care for up to five, depending on the matching process.
We are looking for a Deputy Manager . Working closely with the Registered Manager, you will help lead the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our young residents.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home
* Ensuring the highest standards of care and safeguarding are upheld
* Building strong relationships with children, staff, families, and external agencies
* Implementing care plans and managing risk assessments effectively
* Leading by example and fostering a positive, supportive team culture
What We’re Looking For
* Level 3 in Residential Childcare – essential
* Strong knowledge of Ofsted and Children’s Home Regulations
* Previous experience in a supervisory role within a children’s home
* A full UK driving licence is highly desirable
