Deputy Manager – Lead a Solo Home
Location: ST2 postcode, Staffordshire
Service: Solo EBD home (currently closed), supported by an established 5-bed home nearby where training will take place.
Make your mark in a role with genuine autonomy, trust, and a clear path to Registered Manager. This is a unique opportunity to take the lead in reopening and shaping a solo home, supported by an Outstanding leadership team.
About the Role:
• Lead daily operations of a solo home supporting males with sexually harmful behaviour
• Initially train within the provider’s nearby 5-bed home, gaining valuable support and insight
• Reopen and lead the solo unit with your own team and real ownership of the service
• Work closely with an experienced RM who will visit once per week
• Help shape and grow a high-quality provision with full support as you develop into an RM
• 2 on / 4 off rota with additional management hours available by discussion
• £39,693.30 salary inclusive of sleeps – likely one sleep per shift
• 40-hour contract, with overtime paid at time and a quarter

About You:
• Experienced Senior or Deputy in residential childcare
• Confident in leading teams and daily operations
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and complex needs, including SHB
• Committed, trustworthy, and ready to grow into an RM role
• Level 3 Residential Childcare essential; Level 5 preferred or willingness to work towards
