Job Description
Daytime Healthcare are assisting a leading children's care home to find a Deputy Manager to join the team in Holbeach.
This is a new children's home that is opening, and will be offering a residential service for children and young people with learning disabilities and associated challenging behaviours. The children are aged between 7-17 years old, and is a 3 / 4 bed home.
As a Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day operations, and you will lead, motivate and manage staff and home resources to ensure high standards.
What you will need to succeed:
* You must have a Level 3 in Residential Childcare.
* At least 2 years supervisor experience within a children’s home.
* Previous experience as a Deputy Manager is desirable, but we are open to applications from Children's Team Leaders who are looking to progress.
* Good knowledge of Ofsted.
Pay and Hours:
* Hourly rate is £16.93 with the additional £70.50 for sleep-in shifts
* the shift pattern would be 7am-10pm 3 shifts a week on a 3-week rolling rota. One of the shifts may include a sleep-in.
