Deputy Manager - Residential Therapeutic Children Home

Job Responsibilities:
Assist the Manager in the day-to-day operations of the service.
Support the development and implementation of care plans for children and young people.
Supervise and mentor staff, ensuring high standards of care and support.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Contribute to the recruitment, training, and development of staff.
Maintain accurate records and documentation as required.
Engage with children and young people to promote their well-being and development.
Act as the designated safeguarding lead in the absence of the Manager.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to service improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Level 3 Diploma in Children's Care, Learning and Development or equivalent.
Experience in a supervisory role within children's services.
Strong leadership and supervision skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Commitment to continuous professional development.
Children Services - Deputy Management training or equivalent.
