Job Description

Full‑time | Immediate Start | Horsham
Quality Manager Deputy

We’re looking for a proactive Deputy to the Quality Manager to support and lead key quality assurance and control activities within a busy electro‑mechanical manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  * Internal Audits and QMS support

  * Maintain approved supplier lists and produce monthly supplier KPIs

  * Manage supplier corrective actions and support 8D investigations

  * Assist with customer returns, complaints and compliance questionnaires

  * Support BSI and customer audits

  * Oversee calibration schedules and equipment control

  * Carry out goods‑in, in‑process and final inspections when required

  * Joint responsibility for onsite Health & Safety

  * Provide training and deputise for the Quality Manager, including line management

Skills & Experience

  * Qualified ISO9001:2015 Auditor

  * Strong knowledge of ISO9001:2015 & EN9120:2018

  * Experience with dimensional inspection equipment

  * Manufacturing/electro‑mechanical background preferred

  * Excellent communication, IT skills and attention to detail
