About the Role
We’re seeking a compassionate, dedicated Deputy RGN Manager to join a well-regarded care home in Blyth. This is a fantastic opportunity to support the Home Manager in leading a high-performing care team and ensuring outstanding, person-centred care is delivered every day.
As Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role in the operational and clinical management of the home. You’ll help shape the quality of care, staff development, and the home’s culture, creating a safe and nurturing environment for residents and staff alike.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the day-to-day management of the care home, ensuring compliance with CQC standards and all regulatory requirements
* Lead, inspire, and mentor the care team, promoting best practices and a positive working culture
* Oversee clinical care, care planning, and medication management
* Assist with staff recruitment, training, and ongoing development
* Support the preparation and execution of audits and regulatory inspections
* Build trusted relationships with residents, families, and external healthcare professionals
* Ensure care delivery is consistently person-centred, safe, and of the highest quality
What We’re Looking For
* Registered Nurse (RGN) with an active NMC PIN
* Previous experience in a supervisory or deputy management role within a care home or similar setting
* Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
* Sound knowledge of safeguarding, care planning, risk management, and clinical governance
* A genuine passion for enhancing the lives of older people and supporting staff teams
