Job Description
We are a well-established and welcoming nursery in Hither Green, committed to providing exceptional early years education and care. We are currently looking for two dedicated and enthusiastic Deputy Room Leaders (one in our Pre-School room and one in our Baby room) to join our friendly team.

As a Deputy Room Leader, you will play a key role in supporting the Room Leader with the day-to-day running of the room. You will help to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where every child can thrive. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Level 3 practitioner who is ready to take the next step in their career and gain valuable leadership experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Room Leader in planning and delivering engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework.
* Provide high-quality care and education tailored to the needs of individual children.
* Support the Room Leader in supervising, mentoring, and motivating the team.
* Build strong, positive relationships with parents and carers, ensuring excellent communication.
* Maintain accurate records, observations, and reports on children’s progress.
* Ensure safeguarding, health, and safety standards are met at all times.
Requirements:
* Level 3 qualification in Early Years Childcare (or equivalent).
* Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting.
* Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
