Job Description
A new role has arisen with a global leader in Engineering for a Deputy Systems Design Authority, presenting an opportunity for an experienced engineer to work on next generation radar products in a highly innovative environment.
The Role
Working in an established team of highly talented Engineers, the Deputy Systems Design Authority will provide expert technical leadership on complex radar systems. You will lead technical reviews, provide oversight of costs and resources, apply engineering principles across the full engineering lifecycle, support system assurance activities while also defining acceptance strategies to ensure systems comply with technical and contractual requirements.
Skills
This position requires an Engineer with a background in hardware design and development, experience operating as a technical authority, a deep understanding of the full engineering lifecycle and requirements & configuration management tools (eg. DOOR, JIRA). Strong communication and leadership skills will be essential.
Experience with Radar and Chartered status will be highly advantageous but not essential.
