What You’ll Be Doing:
* Working alongside the Theatre Manager you’ll provide inspirational leadership to the theatre team, ensuring the highest standards of safe, effective, and compassionate patient care.
* Work clinically alongside colleagues, leading by example and maintaining hands-on expertise.
* Support the Theatre Manager in overseeing and optimising the daily operations of the theatre, including staff scheduling, workflow, and resource management.
* Collaborate closely with the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver seamless, patient-centred care and an excellent experience.
What We’re Looking For:
* Registered Nurse with active NMC pin or Operating Department Practitioner with HCPC registration.
* Extensive experience in an operating theatre setting, preferably within orthopaedics and cosmetics.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, inspire, and effectively manage a team.
* A hands-on leader who is adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
* We welcome applications from experienced Lead Theatre Practitioners or Nurses who are ready to step up into a Deputy Theatre Manager role.
* Background in NHS or private healthcare; a mix of both is desirable.
