Design & Technology Teacher - Tonbridge
Location: Tonbridge, Kent
Start Date: September 2025 (or earlier)
Contract: Full-time or Part-time
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
Term Time Teachers is working closely with a high-performing secondary school in Tonbridge to recruit a talented and motivated Design & Technology Teacher. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic DT practitioner looking for a fresh challenge in a well-supported and well-resourced environment.
The Role
Teaching Design & Technology across KS3-KS4, with the potential for KS5 depending on experience
Specialisms welcomed in Product Design, Resistant Materials, Engineering, Graphics, CAD/CAM
Deliver creative, hands-on lessons that promote problem-solving, innovation and practical skill development
Collaborate with a supportive DT department on curriculum planning and new initiatives
Option to support extra-curricular clubs and projectsWhat We're Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching DT in a UK secondary school
Strong workshop knowledge and/or CAD ability (e.g., Autodesk, SolidWorks)
Excellent behaviour management and classroom engagement skills
A positive, proactive, and flexible approach to teachingWhat the School Offers
