Design and Technology Teacher - Secondary School - Ascot
Are you a qualified Design and Technology teacher or specialist seeking a new role in a Ascot secondary school?
Academics Ltd are working with an outstanding secondary school in Ascot that is looking to appoint a Design and Technology Teacher from January 2026. We are seeking a fully qualified teacher (QTS essential) who is passionate about the subject, demonstrates strong classroom practice, and maintains high expectations. This position is also an excellent opportunity for ECTs beginning their teaching career.
The school is looking for a Design and Technology Teacher who:
* Is enthusiastic about their subject and demonstrates excellent classroom management and high standards.
* Can plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, interactive lessons for students of all abilities.
* Has an interest in evidence-informed teaching and a commitment to continual professional development.
* Possesses strong organisational and interpersonal skills, can work effectively within a team, and contributes positively to wider school life.

Requirements:
* A degree in Design and Technology or a related discipline.
* A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or QTS).
* Experience using online teaching platforms.
* Strong understanding of the English curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
